In December 2008, St. Agnes received a generous donation of $10,000 from a parishioner to initially provide funds for scholarships to St. Agnes parishioners. In 2013, an additional $2,500 was received to continue building the fund. And in 2015, an additional $50,000 donation was received. These donations have allowed proceeds to be used towards annual scholarships to St. Agnes parishioners desiring a higher education.
Beginning in 2016, and continuing each year since, a committee has reviewed applications and multiple $1,000 scholarships have been awarded to St. Agnes parishioners for higher education each year.
