The St. Agnes Community Garden is a living, practical, and experiential example of Laudato Sí. As the garden grows, all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate in whatever ways that may enrich their lives, the community, and the environment. This may take the form of preparing the space, planting, upkeep, sitting in meditation, creating in their minds their own prayer space. We envision visitors being awakened to the Creator’s purpose and their role, however great or small, in fulfilling it.

The Community Garden Committee works in conjunction with the Landscape Committee to enhance the outdoor landscape and make the green space a meditative spiritual area that can be enjoyed by the entire community.
