Commemorating St Francis of Assisi Feast Day

Join members of intergenerational Community Garden and Laudato Si’ Initiative as they commemorate the Feast Day of St Francis of Assisi.
All-age activities for the afternoon center around three of the seven goals of Laudato Si’.
- Repurposing materials bound for the trash
- Making winter bird food
- Learning ways to simplify our lives
Additionally, the 5:30p.m. Mass will be celebrated outdoors on the church grounds and will include the traditional Blessing of the Animals during Mass.
We hope you, and your pets, will join us in front of St. Agnes to honor the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi and to recommit ourselves to living out his belief that “when we leave this earth we can take with us nothing that that we have received, only what we have given.”
