Each Sunday at the 10:30 Mass, you will have the option of listening to Mass in the St. Agnes parking lot on your car radio. Reservations are no longer required. Simply come to the parking lot and park in the designated area so you can get the best reception and receive Communion. A hospitality minister will come by before Mass begins to find out how many people in your car will be receiving Communion.
Because everyone’s safety is of the utmost concern, we ask that everyone in your car have a mask with them. Anytime one of our ministers or knights approach your car, we ask that you only put down the driver’s window and all car occupants put on their masks during those interactions.
Offertory and Communion Directions
For the Offertory, the knights will take up offering by bringing baskets around if people want to give to the collection. Masks should be on both the knights and all the people in the car. Folks should remain in their cars, and our knights will come to the driver’s window only.
For Communion, everyone will stay in their car. The communion ministers will bring communion for everyone in the car and give it to the driver of the car who will then distribute it among the car’s occupants. Everyone in the car as well as the communion minister will have their masks on when the ministers approach the car. The ministers will go car to car to give communion.
After communion there is a closing prayer and blessing that you will hear on the radio. Then I will dismiss everyone to go in peace. We ask that you wait to exit the parking lot until the knights direct you to do so.
From the St. Agnes parking lot, simply tune your radio to FM 107.5
