Due to the limitations brought on by SARS-CoV-2, St. Agnes will be offering a variety of options for Parishioners and visitors to celebrate Palm Sunday and Triduum. Each service will include three options: 1) In the Church (limit of 50), 2) car radio in the parking lot, and 3) sitting outside the Church. Please read the information below carefully so you can make plans for what works best for you and your family.

Keep in mind, reservations are required for in the Church seating and listening on your car radio.

Passion Sunday and Triduum Schedule

Reconciliation
Saturday, March 27 at 3:00 – 5:00
Reconciliation is being offered Saturday in the Church or by appointment.

Palm/Passion Sunday
Saturday, March 27 at 5:30 PM and Sunday, March 28 at 10:30 AM
Both liturgies will begin outside with the blessing of the palms. Weather permitting, the entire 10:30 Mass may be held outside.

Wednesday, March 31
There will be no 12:00 noon Mass.

Holy Thursday: Mass of the Lord’s Supper
Thursday, April 1 at 7:00 PM
Service will be held inside the Church along with both outdoor options (see additional information).

Good Friday: Stations of the Cross
Friday, April 2 at 3:00 PM
Weather permitting, Stations of the Cross will be outside in the parking lot. There will be no indoor option.

Good Friday: Celebration of the Lord’s Passion
Friday, April 2 at 7:00 PM
Weather permitting, the service will be held outside on the lawn; however, reservations should be made for in Church seating or car radio in the event of a weather change.

Holy Saturday: The Easter Vigil
Saturday, April 4 at 8:00 pm
Weather permitting, the service will begin outside with the Easter fire and readings. After the Alleluia, you will be directed to your designated area based on your reservations (inside the Church, in your car, or sitting outside the Church). More details about the Vigil will be announced soon.

Easter Sunday
April 4 at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM
Liturgies will be held inside the Church along with both outdoor options (see additional info).
There will be an Easter egg hunt for children after the 10:30 Mass. Details will be announced at Mass.

Additional Information
  • Masks are required and social distancing must be observed at all times.
  • Online Masses will be available for Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday only

OUTSIDE OPTIONS

  • Each service throughout Holy Week will offer the options to listen to the service in two ways. 1) in your car in the Church parking lot on FM 107.5 or 2) outside the Church near the front door.
  • If you choose to sit outside the Church, please feel free to bring a chair and blanket and sit outside the front of the Church on the walkway or lawn area. No reservations are required.
  • If you are outside the Church for any of the services, stay where you are for Eucharist and Collection and someone will come to you.

RESERVATIONS

  • When you make reservations for inside the Church, please take note of the information at the end of the confirmation process and confirmation email.
  • If you need to cancel a reservation for inside the Church, please let us know ahead of time so the space can be available to someone else.
  • You will receive additional emails during Holy Week with details about each service.
