October is traditionally a month of prayer dedicated to the intercession of Mary. In this time of great unrest and uncertainty in our country we have an opportunity to come together in prayer, even if just virtually or separately at prearranged times.
Ways to pray this month:
- Join with friends and family by setting a time to pray and an intention to hold, even apart we can pray as one.
- Pray the rosary. This coming Wednesday join others from around the country in a Rosary for America sponsored by the US Catholic Bishops.
Watch the bulletin, FB and this Website throughout the month for further suggestions on prayer forms and opportunities on the needs of our country, the sick, the poor, the homeless, those in financial distress, affected by the pandemic, racial unrest. Even in times of great need, we remember we are the baptized, a people of hope.
