Earth Day at St. Agnes

The St. Agnes Landscape Committee is hosting an Earth Day Event at St. Agnes right outside the Church on Sunday, April 21.
Let’s gather after the 10:30 Mass and celebrate Earth Day!
Glass to Sand Demo
Jim King, king of glass recycling, will be there with his glass crushing machine so you can learn about how it works and see it in action. Jim has been collecting glass for St. Agnes since 2021.
Bring a bag of glass (washed, labels can stay on) and take home a 5-pound or 50-lb bag of sand. If you’re interested in purchasing a larger amount of sand, contact Scott Hutton ahead of time.

Talk to members of the St. Agnes Landscape Committee and see the original landscape design, learn about what they are planning, and hear about the Water Mitigation Project.

Get your hands a little dirty and plant a seed starter to take home. This 10-minute hands-on workshop will be fun for both kids and adults.
Pick up some tips on recycling materials for planting.

Healthy Food and Fun Food!
Stop by and have a bite of something healthy or something fun.
We’ll have small bites for sampling some healthy and natural snacks, herbal tea, and foods that remind us of earth day, nature, and the outdoors.
