What is Flocknote?

Flocknote is a new platform for parish member management. St. Agnes, along with all parishes in the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, will be using this tool to house and update parishioner records and online giving. Our Diocese chose the Flocknote platform as a more efficient, and easy-to-use, all-in-one tool to safely store and maintain our parish families’ and giving information.

Our community will work together to transition to this new platform. With it you can update your own contact/profile information and add/update online giving using the wallet feature.

Eventually we will use Flocknote for parish communication via both email and/or text.

The first thing we need to focus on is online giving.

For those of you who currently give automated recurring gifts electronically for either the weekly collection or any other fund, you will have to re-submit your information in our new platform—Flocknote. This has to be completed by November 15, 2025.

PLEASE NOTE: When setting up online giving with ACH transfer, please double check your routing number and account number when you type it in, as any errors on these two numbers results in a service fee to St. Agnes.

Are there any requirements for setting up online recurring donations in Flocknote?

Yes. You are required to have either an email address or cell phone number with texting.

I donate to St. Agnes through online giving on a recurring basis, what do I need to do?

We’re asking active recurring donors, and anyone else who wants to set up recurring donations, to create a new recurring donation in Flocknote here. When that’s complete St Agnes will take responsibility for canceling your current recurring donation; however, if you prefer to do it yourself please feel free.

If you are comfortable with technology and online giving/payments, you can go to you can set up your recurring payments now.

What are one-time Passcodes?

One-time passcodes (OTP) are single-use security codes that are an alternative to passwords. Flocknote uses One-time Passcodes instead of passwords for account verification. So, when you set up electronic giving you will be required to verify who you are via email or text message where a 4-digit code will be sent. Anytime you access Flocknote you will be sent a one-time passcode to access your personal data.

What are the steps to set up online giving?

To set up online giving on a recurring or one-time basis follow these simple steps:

  • Click the GIVE ONLINE NOW button to get to Flocknote.
  • To set up giving for the Weekly Offertory Collection click the box SET UP A RECURRING GIFT.
  • To setup recurring giving for another fund click the MAKE A GIFT button and select a fund.
  • Enter an amount to give.
  • Mark the box RECURRING to give on a continuous basis.
  • For RECURRING GIFTS, set the cycle for how often you would like to give (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) and set the start date by clicking the calendar icon (to the right of NOW)
  • Enter your email or cell number
  • Verify your identity with the one-time passcode that’s sent to you through email or cell (whichever you used).
  • Select your payment method (ACH or credit card) and enter your payment information.

  • Check Save this card/info
  • Check whether or not you want to allow other family members to use the card to donate to St. Agnes.
  • Click NEXT
  • Click GIVE SECURELY to finalize the donation setup.

You will receive an email or text confirmation after the new setup has been completed.

How do I stop my previous automatic donations to St. Agnes?

After you setup your new recurring donation, St. Agnes will be notified and will cancel your recurring donations setup in ParishSOFT.

Will Flocknote show me the donations I’ve made previously through ParishSOFT?

Yes, we have transferred your donation history from ParishSOFT to Flocknote.

How do I make changes to my recurring giving or my contact information?

You can change your recurring giving anytime by logging into Flocknote with a one-time passcode and editing your profile. Once in your profile you can change your contact information or the information in your wallet and your giving. For details on how to do that visit the Flocknote website “How to manage your payment profile and wallet.”

Will I still receive a letter listing my donations at the end of the year for tax purposes?

es, since we’re moving over your donation history to Flocknote, we won’t lose track of any past donation history, and will be able to provide that letter at the end of the year as expected. You can also see your donation history anytime you go to the Giving page and you can update your Giving by going to Flocknote and logging in with or email or cell number. When you go to the login page and enter your email or cell number, you will receive a one-time passcode so that you can change your giving or update your profile information.
